For Your Eyes Only

The Carousel Fund's 24th annual Casino Night fund-raiser on Oct. 21 will have a James Bond theme. Singer Sheena Easton, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song for her rendition of "For Your Eyes Only," will be the special musical guest. Arnie Cohen, president of the Carousel Fund, said the theme will be "Shaken, Not Stirred," and that actor Pierce Brosnan has been invited to attend as an honored guest.

Easton, whose recording career has included gold and platinum albums in the United States, Europe and Asia, has received two Grammys and was the first artist to have top five records on five of Billboard's charts. She is a top concert attraction around the world, and has appeared on television, movies and Broadway plays. The Carousel Fund's event will once again be held at the Petaluma Veterans Building and will feature casino games in a 4,000-square-foot tent adjacent to the building and a Texas Hold &‘em poker tournament. The Carousel Fund is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to assisting Petaluma families with children suffering from catastrophic illnesses. "Every year, the event raises money to help us to help families who are struggling every day to keep their children alive," said Cohen. Tickets will go on sale soon.
