Update: East Washington Street lanes to be closed for three days

The City of Petaluma and the contractor replacing the 18" water main on east Washington Street have updated the road closures and detours on East Washington Street for the next week.

Between Friday, September 21, 2012 and Friday September 28, 2012, there will be alternating eastbound and westbound lane closures that will be detoured off of East Washington Street by one block around the roadwork. Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider an alternate route. The roadwork work will only involve one direction at a time and will be conducted during normal business hours, from 7a.m. to 5p.m., during the weekdays.
