Suspected drunken driver arrested in Highway 116 head-on crash

A head-on collision on Highway 116 near Stony Point Road Sunday night involved a suspected drunken driver, reported the CHP Monday.

A Novato driver in a Toyota Camry crossed over double yellow lines at about 9:15 p.m. and struck another Toyota Camry.

The woman in the second sedan went by ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with possible moderate injuries, reported the CHP.

CHP officers arrested Rene Espinoza, 24, on suspicion of drunken driving.

About 30 minutes later, a suspected drunken driving crash occurred on Adobe Road near Petaluma.

Driver Justin Glaze, 21, of Sonoma was preparing to make a turn off of Adobe Road onto Manor Lane when a speeding car came up from behind and struck Glaze's Chevrolet Malibu.

Suspect driver David Lang, 28 of Rohnert Park was driving a 1994 Jetta. Lang was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Glaze was taken to Memorial. A passenger in his car reportedly suffered minor injuries.
