Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus to have follow-up information published.
All charges of rape, sodomy with force or injury, and two counts of “oral copulation in concert with force” against Jared M. Adiego, 25, of Petaluma, were dropped by the Sonoma County Superior Court on July 21.

Jennifer N Bellavia, 30, of Petaluma, was arrested for misdemeanor battery in the 1500 block of Mauro Pietro Drive.
Emily F. Regalia, 66, of Novato, was arrested on felony charges of false imprisonment in the 500 block of Petaluma Boulevard South.
Nate J. Byars, 40, of Santa Rosa was arrested for shoplifting in the 200 block of South McDowell Boulevard.

Andrea L. Caudill, 25, of Petaluma, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance in the 2600 block of Petaluma Boulevard South.

Hugo A. Lopez, 52, of Petaluma was arrested for battery in the 500 block of 6th Street.

Grant D. Lowrie of Santa Rosa was arrested on charges of felony burglary in the 200 block of North McDowell Boulevard.
Carlos G. Ayala, 18, of Santa Rosa, was arrested in the 900 block of Bantam Way on charges of obstruction of justice.

Vickie D. Mejia, 52, of Fort Bragg, was arrested in the 300 block of Bodega Avenue for providing false identification to a police officer.

Mary Catherine Ferry, 58, of Petaluma was arrested for misdemeanor battery.
Ariz R. Jacques, 22, of Petaluma, was arrested in the 90 block of Lakeville Street for selling alcohol to minors.

Robert E. McGibben, 53, a homeless man, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance on Payran Street.
Saturday, July 26
Henry G. Flores, 32, of Petaluma; and Roxanne M. Cate, 23, of Sacramento, were in the 800 block of Petaluma Boulevard North for felony car theft.
Sergio Maldonado-Medina, 42, of Novato, was arrested for felony assault with injury and felony simple assault in Petaluma.
Brenda G. Perez, 19, of Santa Rosa, was arrested in the 100 block of North McDowell Boulevard for felony burglary.
Christopher S. Berghorn, 44, of Petaluma, was arrested for shoplifting in the 200 block of North McDowell Boulevard.
