Fall river cleanup, Sept. 20

Volunteers are needed to help clean the Petaluma River.|

Friends of the Petaluma River and the Sonoma Resource Conversation District need volunteers to help with the annual Fall River Trash Cleanup beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Participants should meet at 260 H North Water St. (the front of the Friends of the Petaluma River office), and are asked to bring water, gloves, sunscreen, and to wear suitable clothing.

After the cleanup, there will be a barbecue, refreshments and live music.
