A funeral mass will be held on Oct. 14.|

Virginia L. Ritchie died on Oct. 7, 2014 at the age of 88.

Ritchie was a 46-year resident of Petaluma.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Eugene Ritchie; children, Kathleen Ritchie, Stanley Ritchie Jr., Alan Ritchie and Lorraine Dethlefsen; grandchildren; and brother, Paul Anthony Smith.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma.

The family prefer memorials be made to St. James Catholic Church.
