After Wednesday, Acosta recommended voters drop off their ballots in person at the Registrar of Voters office, at 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa, where the drive-up window will be open 24 hours a day.

To date, 40,270 ballots have been returned out of 177,351 mailed out, a 23 percent return rate.

Eleven drop-off booths for ballots will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Ballots will also be accepted at all polling locations on Election Day.

The drop-off locations this weekend include:

Cotati Veterans Memorial Building, 8505 Park Ave.

Guerneville Veterans Memorial Building, 16255 First St.

Healdsburg City Hall, 401 Grove St.

Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building, 1094 Petaluma Blvd.

Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library, 6250 Lynne Conde Way,

Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Ave.

Sebastopol Veterans Memorial Building, 282 S. High St.

Sonoma Veterans Memorial Building, 126 First St. W.

Windsor Town Hall, 9291 Old Redwood Highway
