A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Wednesday night after leading Petaluma police officers on a low-speed pursuit on east Petaluma streets.

Kenedy Musasizi, 39, of Petaluma, has four previous DUI convictions in the past seven years, officers said.

Officers attempted to stop his blue Chrysler Concorde on Lakeville Highway for expired plates at 11:37 p.m. Musasizi failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit at 35-45 mph, finally yielding at a shopping center parking lot on Casa Grande Road.

Officers detected signs of intoxication and arrested Musasizi and impounded his car. His driver’s license was suspended from a prior DUI offense.

He was booked into Sonoma County Jail for felony DUI with three or more prior convictions within the last 10 years. His bail was set at $100,000.
