Memorial services for Norine Miover set for Saturday, March 28

Miover was instrumental in the creation of the original Mill Valley library in 1965.|

Norine Winifred Vivian Miover (Farnham) died on March 19, 2015. She was 90.

A Petaluma resident, Miover was born in San Francisco and graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law in 1945, earning her Juris Doctorate at the age of 21.

Miover was instrumental in the creation of the original Mill Valley library in 1965.

She was preceded in death by husband, John Farnham, and by daughter Chris Farnham. She is survived by her children, Mary Farnham, Jan Farnham, Barb Borruso, Cati Young, Paul Farnham and Tom Farnham; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Miover at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at St. Vincent’s Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
