Petaluma Police are looking for a pair of suspects in two armed robberies of east side businesses Wednesday morning.

The two men robbed the Quick Stop on East Washington Street at 5:28 a.m. Less than an hour later, they robbed the Valero gas station on Baywood Drive. The suspects mentioned a gun during the robberies, but witnesses did not see a weapon, according to police.

The suspects were visible in a surveillance video, and police are asking for help identifying the men.

One man was described by police as being Caucasian, in his 20s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white stripe and black sweatpants. The other man, a possible accomplice, was described as Hispanic, in his 20s wearing a Sharks cap, white and gray Polo shirt with a backpack.

The suspects fled both robberies on foot, police said

Anyone with information about the robberies should contact Detective Tamara Shoemaker at 778-4444.
