Petaluma Police seek two in east side robberies
Petaluma Police are looking for a pair of suspects in two armed robberies of east side businesses Wednesday morning.
The two men robbed the Quick Stop on East Washington Street at 5:28 a.m. Less than an hour later, they robbed the Valero gas station on Baywood Drive. The suspects mentioned a gun during the robberies, but witnesses did not see a weapon, according to police.
The suspects were visible in a surveillance video, and police are asking for help identifying the men.
One man was described by police as being Caucasian, in his 20s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white stripe and black sweatpants. The other man, a possible accomplice, was described as Hispanic, in his 20s wearing a Sharks cap, white and gray Polo shirt with a backpack.
The suspects fled both robberies on foot, police said
