Petaluma Police are hoping that a surveillance video released will help lead to the identification and arrest of two men who robbed the Texaco Gas Station at 421 Petaluma Blvd. South on May 11.

At around 1 p.m. that day, police responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred with two suspects fleeing from the Texaco Gas Station. Officers arrived within three minutes and contacted the victim clerk. The clerk described the two suspects as follows.

Suspect 1- White male adult, approximately 20-30 years old wearing a white and plaid button up flannel, light khaki shorts and a black hat.

Suspect 2- Asian male adult, approximately 20-30 years old wearing a black sweatshirt with white squares on the hood and shoulders, black cargo shorts and black shoes.

Both suspects entered the store and went behind the counter to where the clerk was standing. Suspect #2 attempted to restrain the clerk. As the clerk struggled, both suspects took articles of merchandise and left the store in an unknown direction of travel.

The clerk was not injured during the struggle and did not see either suspect with a weapon.

Petaluma Police Detectives are seeking help from the public to identify the two suspects by watching and sharing the video with others.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call Detective Nick McGowan at 778-4373 and refer to Texaco Robbery.
