The victim noticed that her wallet was stolen while shopping in a Petaluma Target store on Saturday, police said. The suspect, a Hispanic woman believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, reportedly used the victim’s payment cards to make over $2,300 in purchases at the Target and a Petaluma Kohl’s store, but her attempt to make another $2,000 in purchases was denied.

The woman was described as driving a white sedan, and was identified in security camera footage as using the cards to make purchases at both stores.
