Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following arrests.

SATURDAY, AUG. 22

9:30 p.m. - 32-year-old Kelly Leist, a Penngrove resident, was cited at the intersection of Gossage Avenue and Petaluma Boulevard North for driving under the influence of alcohol.

9:55 p.m. - Graton resident Joseph Dropko, 37, was arrested at 101 North McDowell Boulevard for activities related to equipment that manufactures counterfeit materials and appropriating lost property worth less than $400.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23

2:51 a.m. - 25-year-old Monica Cook, of Rohnert Park, was arrested at 5300 Old Redwood Highway for driving under the influence of alcohol.

7:48 p.m. - Todd Puterbaugh, 47, was arrested at his residence on Banff Way for assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon and battery causing serious injury.

9:46 p.m. - 24-year-old Jacob Sullivan, of Ukiah, and 36-year-old Cy Baker, of Santa Rosa, were both arrested at 5012 Petaluma Boulevard North for vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle. Sullivan was also charged with violation of probation, and Baker was charged with false identification and a felony outside warrant.

MONDAY, AUGUST 24

11:38 p.m. - Petaluma resident Destiny Proch, 23, was arrested at her residence on Novak Drive for violation of probation, causing harm or death to an elder or dependent adult and disobeying a court order.
