Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following arrests.

Thursday, JUly 2

4:20 a.m. - 27-year-old San Francisco resident Matthew Vidor was arrested at 939 Lakeville Street for carjacking, assault, harming of an elderly adult and evading a peace officer.

1:00 p.m. - Nirut Gowing, a 32-year-old resident of Petaluma, was arrested at 2777 Ventura Avenue in Santa Rosa for robbery.

6:00 p.m. - Jeannette Caughie, 45, of Petaluma, was arrested at 1520 Colwood Drive for a felony bench warrant violation. She had been arrested the prior week as well, for another bench warrant violation and both cruelty and theft involving a dependent adult.

Friday, JULY 3

2:09 p.m. - Sonoma resident Ryan Hammonds was arrested at 400 N. McDowell Blvd. for several violations, including the felony charge of a failing to register as a sex offender. He was also arrested for indecent exposure, battery on a peace officer and violation of probation.

7:54 p.m. - Pennsylvania resident David Brady, 55, was cited for driving drunk at 969 Petaluma Blvd. N.

MONDAY, JULY 6

1:42 a.m. - Anthony Hill, a 31-year-old Petaluman, was arrested on Sequoia Drive for cruelty to a child severe enough to cause possible injury or death and domestic violence assault, as well as driving drunk.

3:37 a.m. - Another 31-year-old Petaluma resident, Matthew Seibel, was arrested at 307 Crickett Court for false imprisonment, cruelty to a child with a possibility of injury or death and somestic violence assault causing injury.
