Petaluma Outlets gets new GM

The Petaluma Village Premium Outlets announced the hiring of a new general manager.

In this role, Jermonte “Jay” Lyons will lead the outlet mall’s leasing, tenant relations, building operations, security and marketing initiatives. He will serve as Petaluma Village’s principal contact for local community and business organizations.

“I am very excited to lead the exceptional team that enhanced the look, feel and comfort of Petaluma Village Premium Outlets over the past few years,” Lyons said in a statement. “As we continue to augment the property, the center will devote its energy to increasing sales and traffic with an emphasis on providing an excellent shopping experience.”

Lyons has leadership expertise in New York and California, including in property, operations, service and sales management. He comes to Petaluma Village from another Simon Premium Outlets property, Del Amo Fashion Center, where he was assistant general manager. During his tenure there, he was integral to Del Amo Fashion Center’s operations, massive expansion project and five-year capital plan.
