Police arrested a Petaluma woman early Tuesday after she reportedly rolled an SUV while driving drunk in a local neighborhood, just five hours after she left jail on bond for a public intoxication arrest the previous morning, according to an announcement by the Petaluma Police Department.

Police said they were out investigating a reported hit-and-run involving a fence along Holly Lane early this morning when they came across the SUV resting on its side. The driver, 26-year-old Petaluma resident Charlee Langley-Radar, was still inside and suffering from minor injuries.

The vehicle had reportedly struck a parked car near the intersection of Madison Street and Payran Street shortly after 2 a.m. before rolling over, police said.

Officers reportedly smelled alcohol while speaking to Langley-Radar about the incident. She had been out of jail since 9 p.m. Monday, having paid bail following her arrest on charges of public intoxication and tresspassing on rail property in Petaluma at 10 a.m. that morning near the intersection of Lakeville Street and East Washington Street, according to police arrest reports.

She was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and, while there, submitted to a screening that showed her blood alcohol to be more than twice the legal limit, police said. Langley-Radar was arrested for driving under the influence and fleeing the scene of an accident.

Langley-Radar remained in jail Tuesday morning on $30,000 bail.
