Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

WEDNESDAY, June 1

5:30 a.m. - Police arrested Sonoma’s Jack Audiss, 49, for two felony charges - aggravated domestic violence assault with injury and violation of a domestic violence-related court order.

1:24 p.m. - Petaluma’s Samuel Griffin, 20, was arrested at the corner of Kentucky and Galland streets for driving under the influence of alcohol and a hit-and-run causing property damage.

THURSDAY, June 2

4:19 p.m. - Kelso Logan, 34, of Petaluma, was arrested at 160 Petaluma Blvd. N., for a felony bench warrant.

6:35 p.m. - Petaluma police arrested a homeless Petaluma-area resident, 32-year-old Christopher Stubbins, at 222 Weller St. for three felony charges: false imprisonment, threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize and causing harm or death to an elder or dependent adult.

11:09 p.m. - Petaluma’s Wilfrido Venturacortez, 25, was arrested at the corner of Petaluma Boulevard North and Sycamore Lane for driving under the influence of alcohol.

FRIDAY, June 3

8:47 a.m. - A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported at Youngstown Mobile Home Park, 911 N. McDowell Blvd.

10:50 p.m. - Police arrested Evert Gonzalez-Garcia, 29, at the intersection of 6th Street and E Street for driving under the influence of alcohol.

SATURDAY, June 4

1:59 p.m. - A stolen vehicle was reported at 124 Arlington Drive.

11:44 p.m. - Police arrested and booked an unidentified 17-year-old male from Santa Rosa near the intersection of Casa Grande Road and Lakeville Highway for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance, felony possession of such substances for sale and transporting or selling narcotic or controlled substance, as well as misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

MONDAY, June 6

3:22 a.m. - Gold River resident Matthew Anderson, 29, was arrested near the intersection of North McDowell Boulevard and East Washington Street for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open container while driving.

12:22 p.m. - Petaluma’s Derek Adamson, 27, was arrested at 5101 Montero Way for a felony outside warrant and two misdemeanor charges: possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

TUESDAY, June 7

5:46 a.m. - Police arrested James Styles, 31, of Petaluma, at 1429 Baywood Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

6:20 a.m. - An auto burglary was reported at 937 Wood Sorrel Drive.
