Sheriff’s log Aug. 22 - 28
Here are some of the cases Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to recently. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 24
5:11 p.m. – Sheriff’s deputies arrested 22-year-old Miguel Torres-Hernandez of San Jose at 1001 Lakeville St. in Petaluma on felony allegations of occupant carry concealed weapon in vehicle, convicted person possess/etc firearm and transporting, selling or importing marijuana. Deputies also arrested 20-year-old San Jose resident Christopher Gomez at the same time and location on felony allegations of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and transporting, selling or importing marijuana. San Jose resident Mary Hanna, 23, was also concurrently arrested on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, a felony charge of transporting, selling or importing marijuana and for allegations of an unsafe turn and/or no signal.
