The Petaluma Fire Department recorded 33 medical calls and 68 emergency calls during the week of Oct. 12 through Oct. 18. Here are a few of those reports:

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 14

9:06 p.m. - Petaluma firefighers responded to a slow-moving fire of around two acres burning up a grassy hill along I Street. Cal Fire was also on the scene, and tackled the left flank of the flames with a progressive hose lay while Petaluma tackled the right. The fire was extinguished quickly.

FRIDAY, OCT. 16

11:19 a.m. - A tire reportedly flew off of a car being transported on the back of a flat-bed tow truck as it travelled along Lakeville Highway Friday morning, striking another car. Firefighters and paramedics from Petaluma responded to the scene along with Petaluma police, and transported one injured patient to Petaluma Valley Hospital.
