Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

11:45 a.m.: Tyler Easley, 18, of Madera, was arrested at English and Fair streets on felony allegations of theft of a vehicle, theft of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, for a felony outside warrant and for a misdemeanor allegation of possession of burglary tools.

5:20 p.m.: Police arrested 27-year-old Petaluma resident Jesse Pruett at 291 North McDowell Blvd. on misdemeanor allegations of obstructing/resisting a peace officer, false identification to a police officer and receiving known stolen property.

Thursday, Dec. 29

2:34 a.m.: Police arrested Cache Jones, a 31-year-old Petaluma resident, at Easton Drive and McNear Circle for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

8:19 a.m.: Police arrested Tanya Sanchez, a 44-year-old Rio Linda resident, at 2601 Lakeville Highway on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and child endangerment.

3:38 p.m.: Kristine Bych, 49, of Petaluma, was arrested at 1363 North McDowell Blvd. on misdemeanor charges of petty theft and violation of probation, and for an outside warrant.

Saturday, Dec. 31

1:29 a.m.: Daniel Francis, 24, of Santa Rosa, was arrested near the intersection of Corona Road and Industrial Avenue on misdemeanor allegations of possession of a switch blade knife and driving under the influence.

1:36 a.m.: A fight was reported at 146 Kentucky St.

Sunday, Jan. 1

4:02 p.m.: Police arrested 59-year-old Santa Rosa resident Michael Williams at North Water Street on misdemeanor allegations of public intoxication and a violation of probation.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

12:14 a.m.: Police arrested Petaluma’s Adam Barbian, 26, at 81 Alta Drive on a felony charge of false imprisonment and a misdemeanor charge of battery domestic violence on a spouse/ex-spouse/date/etc.

8:38 p.m.: Emily Austin, a 33-year-old Occidental resident, was arrested at 401 Kenilworth Drive for alleged burglary/shoplifting less than $950.
