Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. Wednesday, Jan. 4

7:29 p.m.: Enrique Valderrama, a 36-year-old Arcadia resident, was arrested at 5155 Old Redwood Highway on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence.

Thursday, Jan. 5

9:31 p.m.: Police arrested Santa Rosa’s Crystal Harp, 22, at 1645 Weaverly Drive on misdemeanor allegations of possessing a narcotic controlled substance, possessing controlled substance paraphernalia, and for driving under the influence, as well as for an outstanding warrant.

10:33 p.m.: Megan Qvistgaard, a 24-year-old Petaluma resident, was cited at 1729 Gilrix St. on allegations of driving under the influence.

Friday, Jan. 6

1:56 a.m.: Zane Reggio, a 36-year-old San Rafael resident, was arrested at 1645 Weaverly Drive on suspicion of a felony violation of post release community supervision, and misdemeanor charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license and operating a vehicle without an interlock device.

8:32 p.m.: Police arrested Jorge Villanueva, a 48-year-old Santa Rosa resident, at 918 Ceaderwood Lane on misdemeanor allegations of shoplifting and a false report of emergency.

Saturday, Jan. 7

5:59 a.m.: Donald Swartz, a 52-year-old Grass Valley resident, was arrested at 1002 Lakeville St. on misdemeanor allegations of battery on a person and vandalism.

3:25 a.m.: Police logged a report of a battery at 1283 Marian Way.

5:23 a.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from 2024 Harrison St.

8:43 a.m.: Petaluma’s Casey Brown, 19, was arrested at Baker Street and Tunzi Parkway on suspicion of a felony of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and misdemeanors of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and violation of probation.

12:17 p.m.: Authorities logged a report of a grant theft at 2200 Petaluma Blvd North.

Sunday, Jan. 8

2:30 a.m.: Edgaro Rubio, a 23-year-old Petaluma resident, was cited at Lakeville and East Washington streets on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, a hit and run with property damage and for an alleged infraction of failing to provide proof of insurance.

7:58 a.m.: A commercial burglary was reported at 1410 South McDowell Blvd.

3:46 p.m.: Robert Moore was arrested at Fourth and B streets on a felony allegation of make/etc. unauthorized money with a prior conviction and on suspicion of misdemeanors of possessing controlled substance paraphernalia and a violation of probation.

2:23 p.m.: Police logged a report for an attempted burglary at 542 Vina Rose Drive.

Monday, Jan. 9

1:13 a.m.: Police arrested Petaluma’s Mario Diaz, 34, at First and D streets on for the alleged misdemeanors of obtaining a credit card/using other’s ID, driving under the influence and driving without a license.

2:40 p.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from Eastside Way and Maria Drive.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

11:12 a.m. Petaluma’s Kyle Richardson, 54, was arrested at 1645 Weaverly Drive on felony charges of possession of narcotic substance for sales, management of a location used for unlawful storage of controlled substances and maintenance of a location used for unlawful activities.
