A juvenile was arrested early Monday morning after he broke into Casa Grande High School just after midnight, police said.

The Petaluma boy, whose name and age were not released, was found on the perimeter of the building after police responded to a burglar alarm at the high school, a news release from the Petaluma Police Department said.

On campus, police found an open window to a school building, and the boy was found to be in possession of “items belonging to the school,” the news release said. He was taken to juvenile hall.
