A Petaluma man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a medical facility to satisfy a fetish for diapers, Petaluma police said in a press release.

Todd Simone, 50, was arrested Jan. 6 after a witness observed the suspect acting suspiciously outside of the Oaks Medical Facility on Hayes Lane just after 10 p.m.

Officers arrived and located a window that had been broken by the suspect to gain access, police said.

The suspect attempted to flee out a back window, and officers chased him on foot and brought him into custody.

Simone was found to be in possession of adult and children’s diapers belonging to the facility, police said. Police said Simone admitted to officers that he broke into the facility and stole the diapers because he has a diaper fetish.

He was arrested and booked at the Sonoma County Jail on no bail for burglary, resisting arrest and violation of probation.
