Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

6:37 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 1363 North McDowell Blvd.

9:13 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 969 Petaluma Blvd. N.

9:50 a.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from 333 Casa Grande Road. A second vehicle was reportedly taken from 1995 South McDowell Blvd. at 10:26 a.m., and a stolen automobile was recovered at Bond Avenue and Saratori Drive shortly after. Two more vehicles were reportedly stolen from 400 Casa Grande Road and Allen and Crosscreek streets several hours later.

9:54 a.m.: Police arrested Petaluma resident Moses Hunt, 20, at 7444 Bridgit Drive in Rohnert Park on felony charges of robbery, cruelty to a child and a violation of probation.

2:56 p.m.: Rohnert Park’s Mary Russell, 21, was arrested at 1524 East Madison St. on suspicion of misdemeanors of battery, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and a violation of probation.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

7:26 p.m.: Michael Williams, 59, of Santa Rosa was arrested at Copeland and East Washington streets on misdemeanor allegations of public intoxication, a violation of probation and causing fire of property.

Thursday, Jan. 26

6:50 a.m.: Police took a report of an auto burglary at?6 Petaluma Blvd. North.

8:10 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 884 Petaluma Blvd. South.

12:49 p.m.: Police arrested Anthony Silva, 28, of Rohnert Park at 119 Magnolia Ave. on a felony charge of making/passing a fictitious check, a misdemeanor charge of possessing burglary tools and for two bench warrants.

6 p.m.: Michael Slominski, a 26-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at the intersection of East Madison Street and North McDowell Boulevard on misdemeanor allegations of battery domestic violence, possessing a controlled substance and related paraphernalia and a felony charge of threatening crime with intent to terrorize.

7:23 p.m.: A stolen vehicle was recovered at Douglas and Post streets.

7:41 p.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from 1400 North McDowell Blvd.

Friday, Jan. 27

1:34 a.m.: Corby Bresset, 49, of Petaluma was cited on suspicion of a misdemeanor of driving under the influence at Erwin and East D streets.

5:29 p.m.: An auto burglary was reported at 33 Steven Drive.

Saturday, Jan. 28

11:43 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 200 South McDowell Blvd.

Sunday, Jan. 29

5:04 a.m.: A burglary was reported 1746 Professional Drive.

7:20 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 132 Wyndham Way.

11:26 p.m.: Jeffery Berg, a 29-year-old Petaluma transient, was arrested at American Alley and Western Avenue on suspicion of vandalism and violating probation, both misdemeanors.

Monday, Jan. 30

1:39 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 1363 North McDowell Blvd.

8:05 p.m.: Petaluma’s Julia Roh, 64, was cited the intersection of North McDowell Boulevard and East Washington Street on allegations of driving under the influence.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

5:46 a.m.: An auto burglary was reported at 2114 Weatherby Drive.

6:53 a.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen at Nicola and Southgate drives.

12:18 p.m: A reportedly stolen vehicle was recovered at Browns Lane and South Ely Road.

3:26 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 729 South McDowell Blvd.

4:09 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 700 Paula Lane.

7:46 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 2012 Knight Ave.
