Police seek man suspected of stealing purses from Petaluma outlet

Petaluma police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing more than $1,000 worth of purses from a Coach outlet Friday night.|

Petaluma police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing more than $1,000 worth of purses from a Coach outlet Friday night.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., a man entered the shop in the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets and left with five purses valued at $1,182, police said in a news release.

The suspect in the burglary at the 2200 Petaluma Blvd. North store is described as Hispanic male adult wearing a beige sweater, maroon pants and an Oakland Athletics scarf.

Those with information about the suspect’s identity are asked to contact Officer Suhrke at 707-781-1214 and reference case number 17-1497.
