A video of Petaluma High School outfielder Chandler Mevis making a game-saving catch is among ESPN’s Top 10 plays of the week. The catch is No. 3 among the Top Ten on ESPN and No. 2 on ESPNW Plays of the Week.

The video, shot by Mevis’ mother, Kimberly Mevis, shows the Petaluma junior literally running through a mesh fence to steal a home run in a game played at Sonoma Valley.

The catch was vital for Petaluma, a 1-0 winner in a game for first place in the Sonoma County League.
