Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Wednesday, June 7

2:12 a.m.: Christina Alan, a 40-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 80 East Washington St.

5:44 a.m.: A commercial burglary was reported at 532 East Washington St.

5:58 p.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from 1649 Moclips Drive.

7:52 p.m.: Petaluma’s Richard Patton, 24, was arrested at 620 Madison St. on misdemeanor charges of vandalism and violating probation.

Friday, June 9

6:15 a.m.: Brittany Spears, a 19-year-old Antioch resident, was arrested at the intersection of Browns Lane and Lakeville Highway on suspicion of misdemeanors of unauthorized possession of personal property, appropriation of lost property and charges of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Carolyn Sims, 64, also of Antioch, was arrested at the same location on misdemeanor charges of possessing a controlled substance; 21-year-old Ralph Spears of Antioch was also arrested on misdemeanor charges of unauthorized possession of personal property and possession of controlled substances and controlled substance paraphernalia.

8:30 p.m.: Police arrested Petaluma’s Connor Zitelli, 24, at 54 East Washington St. on suspicion of vandalism, violating probation and buying/etc. personal property with the ID removed, all misdemeanors.

Sunday, June 11

9:52 a.m.: A vehicle was reportedly stolen from 15 Azalea Court.

1:44 p.m.: Brian Hilleshiem, a 41-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at 333 Casa Grande Road on suspicion of misdemeanors of driving under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment.

3:59 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 1449 McGregor Ave.

Monday, June 12

11:32 p.m.: A 16-year-old Petaluma male was arrested at a location on St. Francis Drive on suspicion of domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

Tuesday, June 13

5:38 p.m.: Edrickx Scutt, 25, of Petaluma, was arrested at 660 Lakeville St. on felony charges of obstructing or resisting an executive officer and threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize and on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing or resisting a peace/public officer.

7:53 p.m.: Jose Martinez-Perez, a 25-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at a location on Martin Circle on suspicion of misdemeanors of damaging a wireless communication device and a bench warrant as well as a felony of domestic assault.
