Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.
Wednesday, Sept. 13
7:34 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 557 Jade St.
Thursday, Sept. 14
2:54 a.m.: Gail Mielke, 58, was arrested at 2052 Vista Lane on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury, a felony.
7:13 p.m.: Santa Rosa’s Matthew Hernandez, 27, was arrested at 1368 North McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of felony vandalism and misdemeanors of public intoxication and violating parole.
6:12 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 421 Orinda Ave.
Friday, Sept. 15
2:17 p.m.: Arnulfo Zavala, 53, of Agua Caliente, was cited at 253 North McDowell Blvd. on a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.
2:37 p.m.: Dennis Crandall, 85, of Petaluma was arrested at 400 North McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of attempted second degree murder.
Saturday, Sept. 16
2:50 p.m.: Petaluma’s Maralyn Riedel, 72, was cited at 389 South McDowell Blvd. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
Monday, Sept. 18
10:07 p.m.: Norma Sullivan, 56, of Petaluma, was arrested at a location on Wieling Way on suspicion of domestic battery, a misdemeanor.
3:37 p.m.: Police arrested 27-year-old Novato resident Kelli Baradat at the intersection of North McDowell Boulevard and East Washington Street on misdemeanor charges of child endangerment and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Tuesday, Sept. 19
1:18 a.m.: Eduardo Torres Ramos, 28, of Petaluma, was arrested at a location on Wilson Street on suspicion of felony domestic assault.
