Police Log

Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Wednesday, April 18

7:47 a.m.: Raul Martinez-Panigua, 47, of Petaluma was arrested at 24 Alma Court for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.

5:51 p.m.: Paul A. Danese, 55, of Petaluma was arrested on Country Club Drive for misdemeanor battery on a spouse.

10:11 p.m.: Leanna L. Halvorsen, 29, of Petaluma was arrested at 353 Lakeville Court for misdemeanor public intoxication.

Thursday, April 19

3:58 a.m.: Jovan Majano, 22, of Petaluma was arrested at 1112 Gumwood Lane for vandalism/destruction of property, a misdemeanor.

9:24 a.m.: Elizabeth J. Nunes, 27, of Petaluma, was arrested at 220 Lakevilled St. for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol with a suspended license.

8:41 p.m.: Caludia J. Granadino-Rivas, 25, of Santa Rosa was arrested at America’s Best Value Inn (5135 Montero Way) for felony burglary, plus misdemeanor theft of an access card, knowingly receiving stolen property, and a number of misdemeanor bench warrants.

Saturday, April 21

1:15 a.m.: Evodio Salinas-Sierra, 34, of Petaluma was arrested at 200 Greenbriar Circle for misdemeanor public intoxication.

1:24 a.m.: Thomas A. Magee, 61, of Clearlake was arrested at the Northbound Petaluma Boulevard onramp of 101 for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sunday, April 22

10:29 a.m.: Justin L. Vandaveer, 36, of Petaluma was arrested at 765 Baywood for felony burglary and receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor vandalism and resisting arrest.

5:29 p.m.: Collette M. Burum, 30, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of Frates Road and Lakeville for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.

Monday, April 23

2:14 p.m.: Courtney J. Lewis, 47, os San Rafael was cited at East Washington Street and Wilson Street for misdemeanor driving a vehicle without a license, and without a legally required interlock device.

6:40 p.m.: Austin M. Hazen, 25, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 401 Kenilworth Drive for felony burglary, and giving false identification to police officers, a misdemeanor.

6:53 p.m.: Stepahn D. Salazar, 28, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 401 Kenilworth Drive for felony forgery and knowlingly receiving stolen property, and possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia, misdemeanors.

11:30 p.m.: Cory W. Morrow, 34, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 401 Kenilworth Drive for carrying a concealed dagger (a felony) and misdemeanor possession of narcotics.

Tuesday, April 24

6:55 p.m.: Thomas A. Salon, 55, of Santa Rosa was arrested on Petaluma Boulevard for felony assault with injury.
