An earthquake shook Petaluma Monday afternoon.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 3.7 magnitude quake at 3:22 p.m. It was centered about six miles southeast of Novato.

The Petaluma Police Department and Sonoma County emergency dispatchers did not receive any calls reporting damage or injuries.
