POLICE LOG

Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Wednesday, Aug. 1

3:40 a.m.: Ashley L. Cox, 32, of Petaluma was cited at the corner of Caulfield Lane and Ely Boulevard S. for possession of a narcotic and possession of a controlled substance.

4:11 a.m.: Patrick J. Barsky, 35, of San Francisco was arrested at the corner of Caulfield Lane and Ely Boulevard S. for possession of a narcotic, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, transportation of a controlled substance and felony violation of probation.

10:08 a.m.: Jesus A. Arango-Lopez, 27, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of Caulfield Lane and Payran Street for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic with intent to sell, transportation of a narcotic with intent to sell, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, violation of probation and driving without a license.

1:15 p.m.: Terry E. Anderson, 48, of Santa Rosa was arrested on Southpoint Boulevard for domestic battery.

Thursday, Aug. 2

1:23 a.m.: Hannah Mello, 40, of Putney was arrested at the intersection of Hopper Street and the train tracks for obstruction of justice and driving under the influence of alcohol.

6:50 p.m.: Francisco L. Perez, 25, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of Bodega Avenue and Wallace Court for felony violation of probation.

10:07 p.m.: Noe C. Lopez, 34, of Petaluma was arrested at 401 Kenilworth Drive for shoplifting and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

11:51 p.m.: James R. Sanders, 50, of Santa Rosa was arrested at the corner of Vallejo Street and E. Washington Street for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Friday, Aug. 3

7:57 a.m.: Joseph J. Pedersen, 38, who does not have a listed address, was cited at the corner of 4th Street and 5th Street for loitering.

8:51 a.m.: Dairn N. Sheehy, 28, of Petaluma was arrested at 701 Sonoma Mountain Parkway for violation of probation and a bench warrant.

9:14 a.m.: Deborah M. Horne, 54, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 204 Bodega Avenue for possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Saturday, Aug. 4

8:49 a.m.: Tracey M. Akers, 50, identified as homeless, was arrested at 400 N. McDowell Boulevard for trespassing and violation of probation.

2:41 p.m.: Christopher B. Gibson, 48, of Petaluma was arrested at 1105 Bodega Avenue for felony resisting of an executive officer and driving under the influence of alcohol.

10:49 p.m.: Jordan B. Fernandez, 28, of Petaluma was arrested at 175 Fairgrounds Drive for battery on a peace officers, battery on a person and trespassing.

Sunday, Aug. 5

12:57 a.m.: Elway F. Tautua, 28, of Del Haven was cited at the corner of Keokuk and Washington Street for vandalism.

2:30 a.m.: Amber F. Gonterman, 21, identified as a transient, was arrested at 532 E. Washington Street for public intoxication and violation of probation.

5:05 a.m.: Francis A. Chaitanya, 38, of Novato was arrested at the corner of Auto Center Drive and Petaluma Boulevard N. for giving false identification to specific peace officers.

1:12 p.m.: Kewan R. Freeman, 35, of Marin City was arrested at the corner of Copeland Street and E. Washington Street for public intoxication.

6:29 p.m.: Edgar I. Garcia, 19, of Petaluma was arrested on Technology Lane for domestic felony assault.

9:09 p.m.: Ryan A. Kaczmarek, 29, of Penngrove was arrested at 195 Cinnabar Road for trespassing and violation of probation.

10:24 p.m.: Benjamin L. Alger, 49, of Petaluma was arrested at the corner of W. Payran Street and the train tracks for obstruction of justice and a bench warrant.

Monday, Aug. 6

3:01 a.m.: Shawn M. Skidmore, 40, of Santa Rosa was arrested at the corner of Astoria circle and Meadowview Drive for a bench warrant.

4:49 a.m.: Harley R. Hubbard, 22, of Petaluma was arrested at 291 N. McDowell Boulevard for a bench warrant.
