POLICE LOG

Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published.

Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Wednesday, Oct. 17

10:30 a.m.: Benjamin F. Lyon, 39, of Santa Rosa was cited at 4986 Petaluma Boulevard N. for possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation.

10:49 a.m.: A 16-year-old juvenile from Petaluma was cited at 201 Fair Street for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, a felony.

11:15 a.m.: Michael J. Foley, 33, of Santa Rosa was cited at 477 N. McDowell Boulevard for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

12:32 p.m.: A 15-year-old juvenile from Petaluma was cited at 201 Fair Street for furnishing tobacco paraphernalia to a minor.

8:08 p.m.: Elliot F. Malone, 27, identified as homeless, was arrested at the corner of Caulfield Lane and Kiwi Court for a felony bench warrant.

9:39 p.m.: David L. Papazian, 54, of Livermore was arrested at 1000 Lakeville Street for assault with a deadly weapon.

10:33 p.m.: Sayeed A. Gonzalez, 24, of Petaluma was arrested at 117 Saratoga Court for vandalism.

Thursday, Oct. 18

2:02 a.m.: Porfilio M. Flores, 23, identified as a transient, was arrested at the corner of Kent Street and Kentucky Street for possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation.

8:11 p.m.: Javier C. Montoya, 37, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 901 E. Washington Street for use of a controlled substance and violating parole.

5:36 p.m.: Justin T. Mattos, 31, of Petaluma was arrested at 421 Payran Street for felony theft of a vehicle.

10:53 p.m.: Shawn M. Hall, 40, of Petaluma was arrested on St. Augustine Court for domestic battery.

Friday, Oct. 19

12:19 a.m.: A 17-year-old juvenile from Petaluma was arrested at his home in connection to three felony theft charges, stealing two home safes and the wheels and tires off a 2019 Nissan 370Z at Auto Center Drive.

6:20 p.m.: Bari L. Galloway, 56, of Petaluma was arrested on Caulfield Lane for domestic battery and disobeying a court order.

10:39 p.m.: Eduardo Godinezmendoza, 18, of Petaluma was cited at 690 Sonoma Mountain Parkway for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

10:39 p.m.: George D. Ruiz, 18, was cited at 690 Sonoma Mountain Parkway for possessing alcohol as a minor.

11:39 p.m.: Robert D. Carroll, 34, of Petaluma was arrested at 400 N. McDowell Boulevard for public inxtoxication.

Saturday, Oct. 20

1:49 a.m.: Juan M. Flores-Machuca, 23, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 125 Petaluma Boulevard N. for obstructing a peace officer, violation of felony probation and two counts of misdemeanor violation of probation.

1:07 p.m.: Gabriel A. Perez, 19, identified as homeless, was arrested at 939 Lakeville Street for exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm and felony violation of probation.

Sunday, Oct. 21

1:44 p.m.: Chante R. Sheard, 32, identified as a transient, was arrested at 400 N. McDowell Boulevard for making a false claim for health benefits and a bench warrant, both felonies.

3:19 p.m.: Jacob B. Walker, 27, of McKinleyville was arrested at 100 S. McDowell Boulevard for public intoxication.

10:19 p.m.: Miguel R. Gonzalez, 24, of Petaluma was arrested at 401 E. Washington Street for driving under the influence of alcohol and violation of probation.

Monday, Oct. 22

8:35 a.m.: Michelle L. Guiliani, 47, of Petaluma was cited at 500 Hopper Street for trespassing and violation of probation.

9:19 a.m.: Lynda A. Cooper, 24, of Petaluma was cited at 101 N. McDowell Boulevard for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and violation of probation.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

11:13 a.m.: Barbara H. Foley, 62, identified as a transient, was arrested at the corner of Champagne Place and Chardonnay Circle for public intoxication.

11:15 a.m.: Jeffrey L. Butler, 35, of Petaluma was arrested at 840 Hopper Street for urinating in public.

1:59 p.m.: Steven Damron, 46, identified as homeless, was arrested at 351 S. McDowell Boulevard for possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.
