Information for parents planning to help students gain college entry will be available at a College Bound Mixer to be held Sept. 2 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Petaluma Public Library, 100 Fairgrounds Drive.

College advisors, financial aid consultants, tutors SAT/ACT advisors and more will be on hand to help explain the challenges of planning for a higher education.

There is no fee and no registration is required for students, parents and guardians. Professionals and other experts planning to exhibit should visit the website at aqus.com to register.

The mixer will provide an opportunity for parents and students to meet with, and get advice from, professionals in the business of advising, application assistance, college prep and financial planning for higher education.

Parents and students can share resources and experiences with other parents and students.?The mixer is a facilitated event and participants are asked to arrive on time.
