The Petaluma High School TV journalism class is asking for community help.

The class has opened a GoFundMe account to help purchase badly needed equipment.

Explains student Matthew Kalemba on the GoFundMe page: “Currently we are using a mix of new and old equipment, but the old equipment is our main system that is beginning to fail and break down.”

What the class really needs is a critical piece of equipment call a TriCaster. The equipment handles almost everything needed for a news show, including merging live video switching, broadcast grapics, virtual sets, special effects, audio mixing, recording, social media publishing and web streaming.
