Homes sought for exchange students

International Education seeks homes for foreign exchange students|

International Education, a nonprofit high school exchange organization, is currently looking for volunteer host families to host international students participating in its high school cultural exchange program.

Inter-Ed places exchange students in Petaluma homes as well as other communities in the North Bay.

Inter-Ed is the leading not-for-profit sponsor of J-1 exchange students and has been working with volunteer host families for international students for more than 20 years. Inter-Ed places students from many countries for semester-long and year-long academic programs.

Students who participate in the Inter-Ed program have their own spending money, are fully insured, and attend local high schools to learn more about American culture, make friends, participate in sports, activities, volunteer in the community, and most of all, become lasting members of the host families and town.

For more information, contact International Education at (209) 661-4837 or visit the website at inter-ed.org.
