Petaluma’s mayoral race remains too close to call, but many other campaigns came to a close on Nov. 4. Those who took part in this week’s unofficial online poll had mixed reactions to this year’s election results. Here were some of the comments:

“What results? It’s Nov. 5, over 24 hours after the polls closed, and they are talking about having mayoral results by Thanksgiving!”

--

“Time for the city council to start making tough choices instead of expecting taxpayers to pick up the tab. First up: bloated law enforcement pensions.”

--

“How could Measure M not pass? Very disappointing, come on Sonoma County, the public library system is much more than a building with dusty old books.”
