Second summer softball camp

Former Casa Grande High School softball standout Ashley Ludlow will conduct another summer softball camp at Prince Park for girls under the age of 12.

Her second camp will be held July 22 through July 24. The camp will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The camp is designed to help girls of any skill level to improve their softball skills under the direction of some of the best softball players in the area.

There will be instruction in hitting, fielding, pitching, defense and base running, with and emphasis on having fun.

Instruction will be by Ludlow, who is now playing softball at the University of California at Santa Barbara and some of the area’s best high school and club players.

Ludlow was an all-league pitcher at Casa Grande and one of the Lady Gauchos’ best all-around players.
