Soccer games at SRHS

Several South County stars will be among players participating in the second annual High School All-Star Soccer Doubleheader set for Friday night at Ernie Nevers Field on the Santa Rosa High School campus.|

Several South County stars will be among players participating in the second annual High School All-Star Soccer Doubleheader set for Friday night at Ernie Nevers Field on the Santa Rosa High School campus.

Petaluma-area players will play on the South teams that include players from Casa Grande, Elsie Allen, Montgomery, Petaluma, Rancho Cotate, Roseland Prep, St. Vincent, Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Academy, Technology and Tomales high schools. They will be opposed by North teams that include players from Analy, Cardinal Newman, Cloverdale, El Molino, Geyserville, Healdsburg, Maria Carrillo, Piner, Rincon Valley Christian, Santa Rosa, Ukiah and Windsor.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with a boys game at 6:15 p.m. and a girls game at 8:15 p.m.

Playing for the girls South team will be Amanda Galbraith and Kayla Ryan from Casa Grande; Cassie Baddeley, Gabrielle Lemos, Shelby Evenich, Olivia Stewart and Nicolette Elliott from Petaluma; and Dale Leonheart from St. Vincent.

On the boys South team will be Gravier Pacheco and Ivan Barajas of Casa Grande and Tarwinder Purewal, Simon Lindsey and Ben Seymour of Petaluma.
