Big House Hoops

Casa Grande High School basketball coaches James Forni and Nick Iacopi again offer their Big House Hoops camp on June 22 through June 25 in the Casa Grande High School gym.

Young hoopsters entering the third through sixth grades will play from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by those entering the seventh through ninth grade from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The camp teaches fundamentals for both boys and girls at all positions, along with fun drills and games. Coaching will be provided by Casa Grande varsity basketball players.

The individual skills camp for girls will be June 15 through June 19, followed by the boys camp on June 22 through June 26.

The competition camp for both boys and girls will be July 6 through July 10.

Both camps will be at Petaluma Junior High School.

Camp co-directors are Eric Hoppes, former Petaluma High boys basketball coach, and Doug Johnson, former Petaluma High girls basketball coach. Coaching will be by local coaches and high school and college players.
