Steiner chosen for All-Empire team
Casa Grande High School senior Henry Steiner has been selected to the All-Empire boys swim team by The Press Democrat.
Steiner set a North Bay League record in the league championship meet, swimming 51.94 in the 100-yard butterfly to earn a spot in the North Coast Section meet. He also qualified for NCS in the 200-yard IM.
Petaluma’s Nik Frattarelli, a junior, was placed on the second team.
Chosen Swimmer of the Year was Stefan Keller of Maria Carrillo.
Coach of the Year was Rick Niles of Maria Carrillo.
