Panthers regain pride against Sonoma

The Petaluma Panthers youth football teams faced the Sonoma Dragons last Sunday at Novato High School. There were not enough players on the Sonoma Jr.|

The Petaluma Panthers youth football teams faced the Sonoma Dragons last Sunday at Novato High School.

There were not enough players on the Sonoma Jr. Pee Wee team, so it had to forfeit the game, putting a win on the record books for the Panthers.

The Panther Mitey Mites lost by one point, 14-13.

The Panthers won the remaining games: the Pee Wees, 28-0; Jr. Midgets, 33-8, and the Midgets, 36-6.

Overall, the Panthers had a successful day.

This Sunday the Panthers face the Healdsburg Bulldogs at Novato High School. The games begin at 9 a.m.
