Petaluma High School’s wrestlers won a pin-dominated Sonoma County League match over Analy, 46-30, last week.

There were only two decisions in the close match, both won by Petaluma. Jack Reynolds at 126 pounds recorded an 11-3 win over Austin Henry and Eric Machado prevailed over Cosmo Hahn, 5-0, at 170 pounds.

Heavyweight Daniel Pacheco accepted a forfeit win.

Trojan pin winners were Zac Coello at 113 pounds, Liam O’Neill at 132 pounds, Colton Prieto at 138 pounds, Dominic Ayers at 152 pounds, Curtis Goughnour at 160 pounds and Sterling Prieto at 184 pounds.

Casa tops SR

Casa Grande’s Gauchos had an easy time on their home mat, defeating Santa Rosa, 65-5, in a forfeit-marked North Bay League match. Eleven matches were forfeited, including two double forfeits.

On the mat, Casa’s Tannor McKinney at 152 pounds won a technical fall over Santa Rosa’s Tommy Caldwell, 18-2, and Justin Naugle pinned Santa Rosa’s Hunter Garthwiate in the second period.

In girls competition, Casa’s Selina Medrano pinned Santa Rosa’s Dana Johnson in the third period.
