St. Vincent’s no-hit pitchers

By game, here are the pitchers who pitched four consecutive no-hitters and 22 innings of baseball without giving up a hit for St. Vincent High School:

Liam Galten, George Sammon and Jake Pullan combined to beat Technology, 13-0, in a five-inning game. Galten faced six batters in two innings, striking out three. Sammon struck out two in a perfect inning. Pullan walked two and struck out two in two innings.

Trevor Bovaird and Jack Romano beat Archbishop Hanna, 18-0, in five innings. Bovaird pitched the first two innings. He walked none and struck out three. Romano struck out five of the nine batters he faced over the final three innings of a perfect game.

Dominic Pedersen pitched the only solo no-hitter, beating Upper Lake, 2-0, in seven innings. He was a walk away from a perfect game.

Bovaird, Romano and Pullan beat Calistoga, 13-0. Bovaird worked two innings, walking none and striking out four of the six batters he faced. Romano worked two innings, walking one and recording five of his six outs by strikeouts. Pullan pitched an inning with two walks and two strikeouts.
