There was no letdown for Casa Grande’s Gauchos after their big win over Maria Carrillo last week as they blanked Rancho Cotate, 6-0.

Megan Hanley, Cassie Walsh and Mia Santander each scored two goals in the romp. Sarah Ramstadt, Lauren Freilander, Stephanie Martinez, Annie Gallo and Gizela Carranza added assists.

Cassie Bailon recorded the shutout in goal for Casa.

Casa Grande then kept alive its North Coast Section playoff hopes, edging Windsor, 2-1 in a game played at Casa.

Hanley and Carranza scored for the Gauchos with Jocelyn Garcia providing an assist.

Amber Balogh, off an assist from Katie Bianchi, scored for Windsor.

The Gauchos are now 9-7-1 on the season and 6-5-1 against North Bay League foes.

St. Vincent slipped in a North Central League II match, losing to Tech High, 2-1.

Neila Gross scored St. Vincent’s only goal.

The results were much better for the Mustangs against Calistoga, as they beat the Wildcats, 6-1.
