The senior leaders of the dominating St. Vincent volleyball team shared honors as Most Valuable Players of the North Central League II.

Front liner killer Sarah Calabrese and super setter Ali Fetter were both chosen after leading St. Vincent to an undefeated league season and a 19-1 overall record.

Calabrese ruled the net with 190 kills. No other Mustangs had more than 70. She was also the team’s best server with 48 aces. Fetter was the team distributor. She made the Mustang engine run with an amazing 305 assists, almost three times as many as any other Mustang. She also made 106 digs, more than twice as many as any other teammate and was second to Calabrese with 41 aces.

St. Vincent junior Bella Souza was named to the first team All-NCL II squad by league coaches. She was a skilled all-around player, contributing at the net and in the back court. Juniors Eva Clark and Alana Kalehua were placed on the second team and sophomore Aly Kropeinicki received honorable mention notice.
