It was a wild and stormy night.

Too wild and too stormy, it turns out, for local teams to play scheduled basketball games.

A scheduled girls-boys doubleheader at St. Vincent was postponed when opponent Upper Lake decided the weather was too bad to make the trek from Lake County.

Petaluma High’s scheduled boys game at Sonoma Valley also was postponed because of road conditions.

Neither event has yet been rescheduled.
