Petaluma High School sophomore basketball standout Jaden Krist has been chosen to the All-Sonoma County League first team by the league coaches.

Krist, who started last season on the varsity before injuring a leg and missing most of the season, was a dominating post player for the T-Girls, averaging 7.8 points per game, grabbing 39 rebounds and, at times, dominating the paint on defense.

Junior Nichole Costa was placed on the second team. Costa was the most consistent of the T-Girls, leading the team in scoring (165 points) and rebounding (58).

Junior Madeline Abramson and sophomore Kaileigh Pate received honorable mention notice.

Petaluma finished its season with a 9-18 overall record and a 5-7 Sonoma County League record.
