The North Bay Rowing Club received strong showings from all squads in the Covered Bridge Regatta held on Dexter Lake near Eugene, Oregon. There were 537 entries from 25 clubs in the regatta.

Steady rain and light winds dominated the weekend. NBRC had wins in the Women’s and Men’s Junior Novice Quads, Women’s JV Double, and Men’s Varsity Four, and second place finishes in the Men’s Varsity Eight, Men’s and Women’s Junior Novice Four and Women’s JV Four.

“It was quite a weekend. I think we learned a lot, and got some great racing in despite the challenging conditions,” said NBRC coach Will Whalen. “We are excited to take our experiences from here, and transfer them to the last month of the season back home.”

North Bay travels to Sacramento twice in the next three weeks to compete at Lake Natoma, culminating the season on May 4- May 6 at Southwest Regional championships.
