Sheriff’s deputies responded to the following Petaluma-related incidents during the past week:

Monday, Jan. 2

5:17 p.m.: Deputies arrested Mauricio Medeiros, a 45-year-old Petaluma resident, at a location on Paula Lane for alleged domestic battery on a spouse/ex-spouse/date/etc., a misdemeanor.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

11 p.m.: Jonathan Neiss Jr., 24, of Petaluma was arrested at 2796 Ventura Ave. in Santa Rosa on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
