Here are some of the cases the Petaluma police responded to recently. The Argus-Courier publishes the names of people arrested for serious crimes such as those involving physical injury, property loss or damage of property, including burglary, battery, vandalism and drunken driving. People who are found innocent or who have charges dropped may contact the Argus-Courier to have follow-up information published. Petaluma Police reported the following incidents.

Wednesday, June 14

5:56 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 404 Ely Blvd. South.

6:39 p.m.: A burglary was reported at 2301 East Washington St.

Thursday, June 15

6:07 p.m.: Thomas Grenfell, a 34-year-old Salt Lake resident, was arrested at the intersection of Arlington and Burlington drives on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

Friday, June 17

8:24 a.m.: John Gridley, a 31-year-old Cotati resident, was arrested at a location on La Cresta Drive on suspicion of domestic battery.

11:51 a.m.: A burglary was reported at 1044 Mark Drive.

Sunday, June 18

8:03 a.m.: Petaluma’s Robb Cecchini, 45, was arrested a location along Murrieta Drive for alleged domestic assault, a felony.

3:37 p.m.: Christopher Miller, 35, of Santa Rosa, was arrested at 435 Brittania Court on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

11:26 p.m.: Police arrested Michael Orsini, a 30-year-old Petaluma resident, at 925 B St. on misdemeanor charges of violating probation, driving with a suspended license and a hit and run as well as felony charges of theft of a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle and for a felony bench warrant.

Tuesday, June 20

12:11 a.m.: Alejandro Talledo, a 58-year-old Petaluma resident, was arrested at the intersection of Madison and East D streets on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

1:51 a.m.: Police arrested Santa Rosa’s Mario Rubio, 27, at Madison and Payran streets on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and violating probation.

8:58 p.m.: Toby Schultz, a 30-year-old transient out of Petaluma, was arrested at 131 Sunshine Court on misdemeanor charges of violating probation and disobeying a court order and on a felony charge of burglary.
